Marcus is the man mehn. I so much like the guy. He’s a direct white-hat guy when it comes to selling. He let’s you know he got something to sell from his blog name….

  • Hi Trent
As soon as I saw you were interviewing Marcus Sheridan, I had to listen as I have been following Marcus for the last 6 months or so, and I’d heard his story about the swimming pool business and how he’d turned it around using content marketing.

This interview was brilliant – it was great to see Marcus open up about how he was monetising the sales lion. I was particularly interested in that fact that he was giving away knowledge via blogs and an ebook to his followers, and yet the million pound businesses would still pay his 11k fee for a days workshop, despite that they could get it for free! That, to me, was a lightbulb moment! Oh my goodness – you can tell the small businesses till they’re blue in the face, but they don’t have the budget or resource – so head for the big guys by making yourself an authority and a leader – love, love it. Hats off to Marcus, perseverance has paid off and he deserves it!

Thank you Trent, for lining up Marcus for an interview – great, great stuff.

      Hey Alison,

Glad you enjoyed it so much. Plenty more coming 🙂

  • This was great! I shared the article with a client that owns a roofing company.

  • Loved the interview Trent, you know it’s good when i didn’t care at all about the sound quality

Marcus has a ton of energy! I loved his take on not writing to please everyone as well as starting out just building value…hes proof of not getting overnight success..just working his tale off to get tothe top.
