How to Handle Communication When Your Point of Contact Is Not the Decision Maker

You’ve had a chance to hear in my past videos how I source the products for my Amazon business, but as you know, that is only half the battle. Your next hurdle is to pick up the phone and prove to the brand that they need YOU.

But what do you do when the person you reach is not the decision maker?

You could have the most convincing pitch, but if the person you are speaking to isn’t the decision maker—then it doesn’t help you at all. You have a few options at this point:

  1. Rely on the person you spoke with to “retell” your story
  2. Create content for the person to pass on to the decision maker

Creating content, including blog posts and videos, allows you to make sure your story is being told correctly.
