THIS WEEK’S COVERAGE
Saving Time & Illuminating Blind Spots
So if I’ve learned anything in my years of business, it’s how much I still don’t know.
However, I do know just enough to know that what got me here isn’t enough to get me to where I want to go. This past year or so, I’ve really focused on getting more and better information, so I can learn (fail) fast.
I have a big vision for Flowster, so to get there I need to fail especially fast!
What does that mean, in practice?
Well, for starters, putting a plan in place (read: Flowster’s 12 Month Growth Strategy).
Next up, conducting tests to answer questions and/or confirm assumptions made in that plan. Whenever possible, keeping those tests small – even micro – to ensure I don’t waste a lot of time and energy on something that’s not going to work in the long run.
But for an even bigger and faster impact, I’m learning from others who’ve been there before. I’ve just joined an industry-specific mastermind group. That way, I can learn from others who have already conducted those types of tests.
What group(s) are you surrounding yourself with in your industry?
