Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about me and my blog. I’m honored to have you here.

Before I tell you about what my blog will do for you, I want to make sure you understand how I make decisions about my businesses so that you can determine if I’m the right guy for you to learn from.

The goal of my online businesses has never been only to maximize my income.

Instead, my goal has always been to maximize my income without negatively impacting my family life, my integrity, or my lifestyle.

If my goal resonates with you, then you are in the right place.

I have been an entrepreneur since 2001 and have started 4 businesses.

I sold the first one for $1.2 million in 2008, and the others continue to operate under my leadership.

The first business is this blog, and thanks to sales of our product, it generates a 7 figure a year income.

The second business is an Amazon reseller business that also generates several million a year in sales, despite the fact that I no longer have a day to day role in the company. The third business is Flowster; a software company that provides online business owners like you with a vast array of Standard Operating Procedures that make executing and delegating work to your team an absolute breeze!

Despite all this business experience, I want to be the first one to tell you that I don’t have all the answers.

That is why I interview other entrepreneurs on my podcast. You (and I) can learn a lot from them and I encourage you to do exactly that.

What types of lessons can you expect to find here?

Here on Bright Ideas, you will find hundreds of podcast interviews with other entrepreneurs, plus a wide variety of other helpful articles and videos.

All will have one theme in common – how to take a very systematic approach to building a scalable online business that will give you an amazing lifestyle.

In that regard, I definitely practice what I preach.

The truth is that I have been a “systems guy” since the very start of my career.

So much so that author, Jame Clear, included me in his NYT best selling book, Atomic Habits.

If you haven’t read the book yet, I encourage you to take 5 minutes to about my paperclip strategy; one of the earliest (and simplest) business systems that I ever created.

The beauty of the paperclip strategy is both its simplicity, and its effectiveness at getting me to repeat a habit that led to an enormous amount of success early in my career.

When it comes to creating the lifestyle of your dreams, I believe that an online business is THE way to go.

You can run them from anywhere, and create a team that is spread around the world.
