In today’s episode, I interview Steve Simonson, an extremely accomplished entrepreneur I met while attending Capcon in Austin in late 2017.

In our conversation, Steve and I talked at length about how his first company nearly imploded on its way to $75M, how they recovered, and why he’d never dream of building a company without proper systems in place.

One of the things that surprised me most in this interview was just how much having systems in place affected the valuation of Steve’s company.

If you are running your own business now and you feel like you’re drowning, you are going to find Steve’s story extremely helpful.
